I remember enjoying the ‘Special Soy Sauce Wow Boneless’ I tried before, so I’m quite looking forward to this menu as well! Let’s find out what this menu is all about!
Price and Features of Chili Con Wow Boneless
This Wow Boneless menu utilizes the Wow Boneless Patty used in the ‘Wow Smoke Deluxe Burger’! A total of 5 flavors were released simultaneously. It seems they are emphasizing the chicken breast part quite a bit! Please note that delivery prices may vary by store, so be sure to check! The regular menu is priced between 14,700~16,900 won, and the max menu is 22,700~26,900 won. During this event period, there is also a single set that includes Le Sserafim goods, so it might be good to take note!
Components of Chili Con Wow Boneless
First, let’s briefly check the composition of this menu. The smell before opening the box is somewhat sweet, but it’s a bit difficult to pinpoint exactly what it is!
Looking at the composition, there is a somewhat thick sauce sprinkled on top, and although not certain, it seems to be chili pepper powder and Parmesan powder. As for the side ingredients, corn fritters and crunchies stand out first.
When transferred to a bowl, it looks like this. It seems they prepare it by putting it in a box and then sprinkling the sauce and powder on top rather than mixing them evenly!
Because of the name Chili Con, I thought it would be a chili con carne style menu, but it seems to be a combination of chili powder and corn. Haha, the taste also seems similar to the chili con we know, so the sauce on top might be corn cream!
Taste of Chili Con Wow Boneless
Now, let’s taste it to see what it tastes like. According to my research before tasting, the cream sauce on top is hot mayo sauce, the red powder is Mexican spicy powder, and the Parmesan is Parmesan powder!
Looking at it this way, except for the Mexican spicy, it seems to have little to do with chili con carne, and it also seems different from the corn-flavored composition that comes to mind when thinking of chili con in Korea. I immediately picked up a piece to taste. The taste difference between the side with a lot of Mexican spicy and the side without is quite significant!
Although it’s called hot mayo sauce, the sweet feeling is stronger, so as a Korean, I didn’t feel the spiciness well.
The Wow Boneless is basically a style that is somewhat seasoned, so even the parts with less sauce are not bad to eat. In fact, it’s a delicious menu on its own, so even a slightly puzzling seasoning combination goes well.
In fact, the crunchies and corn, which are essentially side ingredients, don’t play much of a role, and the hot mayo sauce and Parmesan also feel a bit out of place. However, this Mexican spicy seems to play a quite important role!
It seems to be evidence that even with moderately delicious fried chicken, the Mexican spice does its job quite well. Haha, one of the few drawbacks might be the significant taste difference between the parts with and without the spice!
The menu itself is not as spicy as expected and not too stimulating, so it seems that even upper-grade elementary school students can enjoy it without any problem! Personally, if you eat the regular size alone, I think the value for money is excellent! It was a menu that I could recommend quite comfortably!
