Hello! Today, I am introducing a new chicken menu from Mom’s Touch, the Special Soy Sauce Wow Boneless from the Wow Boneless lineup. This time, they have introduced the Wow Boneless part and launched various new sauce-based menus! Among the many menus, today I ordered the Special Soy Sauce menu, which has a rather unique composition! The new menu of Wow Boneless, which is said to be more savory using chicken breast! Let’s check out what it tastes like right away!
Special Soy Sauce Wow Boneless Price and Features
This second quarter, we have newly introduced the Wow Boneless Patty used in the ‘Wow Smoke Deluxe Burger’ with chicken breast patty as a standalone menu, launching the new Wow Boneless menu! With this menu launch, we introduced a total of 5 menus, and also added three new sauce lineups: Chili Con Wow Boneless, Golden Garlic Wow Boneless, and Special Soy Sauce Wow Boneless! It’s a composition that goes well with the savory Wow Boneless, so I’m quite looking forward to it!
Please note that the price of Mom’s Touch may vary depending on the delivery cost at each store! This menu is available in Regular, Max (Large), and Goods Single Set (Le Sserafim Goods Menu). The delivery price for the Regular menu is 14,700~16,900 won, and the Max menu is 22,700~26,900 won. Also, the Single Set comes with Le Sserafim photo card goods, so it might be good to keep that in mind!
Special Soy Sauce Wow Boneless Components
Let’s check the components right away! As soon as you open the lid, the rich aroma of soy sauce wafts through. Although it’s called special soy sauce, the basic sauce is soy sauce-based, so it doesn’t seem much different in aroma compared to the existing menu, haha.
I ordered the Regular set, and the visual you see as soon as you open it looks like this. Recently, chicken prices have generally risen, so it’s a reasonable price and quantity for a menu that’s good for one person, haha.
For reference, the point of this menu is the Mom’s Rice Seaweed Crunch topping that was there before! I’m not sure exactly which menu it was a topping for, but I remember the seaweed flavor being quite strong. This time, it seems to be well combined with the special soy sauce, haha.
Since this menu is made for Max, the amount is very large! I sprinkled it all at once, but since the amount is overflowing, I recommend adjusting the amount or sprinkling it separately, haha.
At first glance, I thought it was just regular soy sauce chicken, but once the topping is added, the appearance subtly changes! Let’s find out what it tastes like right away.
The Taste of Special Soy Sauce Wow Boneless
I immediately picked up a piece and tasted it! I expected the taste to be quite different because of the word ‘special’, but I thought the basic soy sauce flavor was still there.
First, the taste of the soy sauce was not excessively salty or too strong compared to existing soy sauces. It seems to have enhanced the sweet taste by mixing soy sauce appropriately with a moderately sweet sauce.
The core of this Wow Boneless menu is that it is a boneless menu using chicken breast! It sounds like it would be very dry, but it feels quite different from the chicken breast of a typical whole chicken. It reproduces the feeling of a moist chicken breast patty well, with some degree of brining and tenderizing, so even I, who likes chicken breast patties in burgers and prefers chicken legs in chicken, had no problem eating it. Also, like the existing Thigh Boneless, the chicken itself is somewhat seasoned!
However, there was a very minor issue where the seaweed flavor was stronger than the soy sauce flavor as I ate, probably because I sprinkled a bit too much topping, haha.
Even with a lot of topping, just a little bit of seaweed pieces can significantly change the chicken flavor, which is a feature of this menu!
Since the seaweed flavor of the topping is very strong, if you are going to eat the Max menu with several people, I recommend checking preferences first and adjusting the amount accordingly or sprinkling it separately.
The taste of the soy sauce itself is also quite good, so there’s no big problem eating it as is! It’s a popular menu, but compared to the Thigh Boneless, which some people find a bit greasy and heavy to eat alone, it’s a menu that can be enjoyed quite lightly.
Of course, it feels like Mom’s Touch doesn’t handle menus other than Thigh Boneless very well! Among the chicken breast boneless menus I’ve tried so far, it was a menu of quite high quality. I think it’s a menu that both those who like chicken breast and those who had a slight aversion to traditional chicken breast can enjoy deliciously, so I can confidently recommend it. The combination of boneless and sauce is also quite good, so you can enjoy it deliciously without any issues!
