[K-food] Edward Lee K Beef Burger Mom’s Touch

Hello! Today, I’m introducing a new menu item from Mom’s Touch, the second menu in the Chef’s Collection 2 lineup, the Edward Lee K Beef Burger. Not long ago, I reviewed the Edward Lee K Thigh Burger! It was an exotic yet Korean menu with a unique flavor created by mixing red pepper powder and coleslaw! I’m really curious about how this beef burger will taste! Let’s find out what kind of menu it is!

Greasy Fried Patty of Beef Burger

Edward Lee K Beef Burger Price and Features

As confirmed with the previous Thigh Burger, this K Burger features a unique taste with coleslaw mixed with red pepper powder and a barbecue sauce with gochujang. This time, I ordered the beef burger, which includes a beef patty instead of the thigh fillet patty. Note that this menu is only available at stores that handle beef patties (marked BEEF), so please be aware!

The price of this menu is 7,500 won for a single item / 9,900 won for a set at store prices. For delivery prices, it’s 8,300 won for a single item / 11,200 won for a set. Comparing just the prices, it’s the same as the Thigh Burger menu, but thanks to the Mom’s Touch image, it seems the set price at the store doesn’t exceed 10,000 won. The value for money seems quite good, right?

Coleslaw Taste Unique to Beef Burger

Edward Lee K Beef Burger Content Composition

Let’s take a quick look at the composition! The appearance is something to consider, and since it’s an issue that varies by location, it is what it is. As long as it tastes good, it’s fine, right?

The menu composition likely uses a beef patty instead of the thigh fillet patty from the original Edward Lee K Thigh Burger. Since the taste can vary significantly depending on the patty, even if both the Thigh Burger and Beef Burger are included in the menu, this menu is also expected to be quite different.

Greasy Fried Patty of Beef Burger

On the other side, you can see the melted, gooey cheese! It was the same with the previous Thigh Burger menu, but when viewed from the side, the coleslaw isn’t very visible (though it seems a bit more visible in this order!).

Beef Burger Easy to Eat Features

Let’s cut it in half and take a closer look at the composition. The basic composition is definitely the same, and it seems only the patty has changed. The coleslaw, with its aged kimchi flavor due to the red pepper powder, stands out the most!

For those who missed the previous Thigh Burger menu review, here’s a brief explanation: from the top, it’s composed of pickles, K coleslaw mixed with red pepper powder, lettuce, onion, cheese, beef patty, and barbecue sauce with gochujang.

Beef Burger Patty Preference Comparison

This coleslaw menu has a sour characteristic that reminds you of aged kimchi, and the more you chew, the more you can taste the coleslaw. The greasy thigh fillet patty and the heavy barbecue sauce add a pretty good taste! Let’s taste this menu directly to see how it is.

The Taste of Edward Lee K Beef Burger

First, I took a big bite of the ingredients of this menu! As expected, similar to the previous menu, the sweet and sour taste unique to coleslaw was the first thing I noticed.

It seems that the beef burger is more convenient to eat than the Thigh Burger! Haha. With a beef patty instead of a greasy fried patty, the subtle flavor of the grilled patty was quite nice! It also felt like grilled meat pairs better with kimchi than fried dishes!

Beef Burger Taste Coleslaw Harmony

Can we describe it as the unique grilled meat taste of the beef patty? The barbecue sauce pairs quite well with that taste, and the kimchi-style coleslaw and pickles give a distinctly different feel from greasy chicken leg fries. Although the volume has slightly decreased!

Beef Burger Recommended Review Taste

The sour coleslaw taste remains almost the same, but if it suits your taste, you can enjoy it like aged kimchi! If it had been stir-fried once, the sourness would have decreased, making it a truly amazing taste.

Whether the Thigh Burger or Beef Burger is better honestly depends on your patty preference. Personally, I thought the beef patty matched a bit better with the coleslaw and barbecue sauce combination this time. It suited my taste well! What is your preference? If you don’t mind, try the one you like between the two, and you’ll surely enjoy it deliciously!
