Hello! Today, I am introducing a new bento toast menu from 7-Eleven, a collaboration with Ottogi Kkokkomyeon Spaghetti Cup Noodles, featuring the Kkokkomyeon Spaghetti Sauce Dipping Pizza style and Spaghetti Toast in two varieties. I’ve seen quite a few convenience store food menus collaborating with Yeol Ramen and Sesame Ramen, and now they’ve even collaborated with spaghetti ramen! Although it’s a packet noodle, I quite liked Ottogi Spaghetti Ramen, and since it became hard to find the packet version in stores, I’ve been eating the cup version often, so I’m quite looking forward to it. Let’s find out what the menu is like.

Price and Features of Spaghetti Dipping Pizza
When convenience stores collaborate on such menus, they usually release various items like gimbap and triangle gimbap. This time, I decided to review two types: dipping pizza and toast. The idea of spaghetti ramen sauce with rice is a bit off-putting, haha.

First, let’s look at the dipping pizza using spaghetti sauce. It’s a concept that combines sweet and sour spaghetti sauce with salty pepperoni ham. It seems like the bread is placed under the cheese and sauce in a dipping pizza style. I remember a similar menu being released at GS25 at the end of 2024, and I’m really curious about the taste of this menu! The price is 3,900 won.

The total content is 208g, with 410Kcal, and sodium is about 70% of the daily recommended intake. Given the low price, it might be a bit lacking as a full meal. It seems that just the spaghetti ramen sauce wasn’t enough for flavor, so they added pizza sauce with tomato paste.

Components of Spaghetti Dipping Pizza
Shall we take a quick look at the components before starting to cook? In line with the dipping pizza concept, small pieces of sliced bread are placed underneath!

On top, there’s pizza sauce, spaghetti sauce, pepperoni ham, and plenty of pizza sauce. It also includes onions, pressed ham, and carrots. Perhaps they tried to capture the feel of the toppings in spaghetti ramen?

Overall, it looks very similar to the dipping pizza menu I tasted at GS25 in the past. The key seems to be how well they combined the spaghetti ramen sauce to bring out the flavor!

Price and Features of Spaghetti Toast
Next, let’s look at the spaghetti toast. Although it’s called toast, the ingredients seem almost identical to the dipping pizza!

This menu concept is sweet and sour spaghetti sauce with salty pepperoni ham cheese. It seems there’s a difference between eating it with a spoon and holding it in your hand. It might remind you of the pizza bread you ate as a child. The price is 3,200 won.

The total content is 171g, with 530Kcal, and sodium is 53% of the daily recommended intake. The calories seem quite high! It’s a bit puzzling that it’s higher than the dipping pizza, but there might be a reason. To cook, slightly open the packaging and heat for 40-50 seconds.

Components of Spaghetti Toast
Let’s take a quick look at the components of the toast. Please note that this is before microwave cooking! When you remove the packaging, you see bread with a slightly yellow tint.

Checking the ingredients, you can see that processed butter is included, which seems to be in the sauce. Seeing the presence of liquid egg (egg), it seems like it was lightly coated with egg and baked once! This might explain why the calories are higher than the dipping pizza. Between the bread, there are simple ingredients like carrots, sweet corn, ham, and sauce.

Taste of Spaghetti Dipping Pizza
First, let’s taste the dipping pizza. It’s just out of the microwave, and if the cheese hasn’t melted yet, just give it a stir!

If you scoop up the melted, gooey part just below the cheese, you’ll get a nostalgic taste of pizza bread from your childhood, with a savory ketchup-like flavor that sticks to your palate!

The sauce is provided quite generously, and there are about 2 to 2.5 slices of bread. So you can enjoy as much cheese and sauce with the bread as you like! It was a menu that offered a decent taste at a reasonable price, in line with the concept.

In terms of cost-effectiveness, there’s nothing particularly disappointing about this menu, but it might be a bit lacking as a full meal. However, with plenty of ingredients like bacon or ham, the sauce alone is quite tasty, making it a good menu to scrape clean.

Taste of Spaghetti Toast
Next, let’s taste the spaghetti toast. When you cut it in half, you can see the same ingredients from the dipping pizza inside the bread!

The bread is slightly toasted, and the pizza cheese is sprinkled in a snowflake style, so it melts quite thickly in the microwave. I thought it was a bit under-melted, so I heated it once more before eating!

If the dipping pizza sauce had a rich feel, this menu gives the impression of eating bread pizza. The amount of sauce is just right, and it doesn’t spill, making it very convenient to eat. The toast is lightly done, so you can enjoy the bread without any burden!

I ate the pizza sauce with the remaining toast! Enjoying both menus together made it quite filling. If you like this style of food, it might be a good idea to try both together.
