Seven Eleven has been rolling out a variety of items quickly under its Limit-Exceeding series. This time, they released a lunchbox that lets you enjoy a combo you don’t often see at Seven Eleven: hamburg steak and bulgogi together. Let’s take a closer look at what it’s like.

I started with a bite of the beef bulgogi. It had a slightly fatty note, and the light soy-based sauce came together with it for a nicely savory, satisfying flavor that was easy to enjoy. Of course, after a few bites, the cabbage bed underneath started to become very noticeable.

Personally, though, when it’s used as a base under a side dish like this, it tends to soak up too much oil, so I don’t end up eating much of it. It might be better if they lightly steamed it once and placed it on top instead.

If you want something that’s reasonably priced, satisfying, and tasty, this is worth recommending. (And get your fiber from the cabbage.)
