Hello! Today, I’m introducing a new burger menu from 7-Eleven, the Overlimit Monster Triple Burger, released as part of the Overlimit series. I decided to try it out since a convenience store burger came out with the name ‘Monster’! It felt hefty right from the packaging, and it was quite heavy! However, since it’s part of the high cost-performance Overlimit series, I’m a bit concerned(?). Let’s find out what this menu is all about.

Overlimit Monster Triple Burger Price and Features

During the time when 7-Eleven’s Majangwoo series was being streamlined to keep only a few main menus, the cost-effective Overlimit series was gradually expanding with various products like burgers and gimbap. This time, the Monster Triple Burger has been newly released. It was quite heavy! They say it’s about 30% larger than the previous product, but I’m not sure what the original product was… The price is 3,500 won, which is very cheap!

The total content is 369Kcal, and the calorie count is a whopping 830Kcal, similar to a typical convenience store lunchbox in terms of quantity and calories. Also, the sodium content is 86%, so you might feel quite full after eating it.

Overlimit Monster Triple Burger Composition

First, let’s cook it in the microwave and then remove the packaging to check the composition. It’s quite a thick burger! Both the burger bun composition and size seem to be roughly at the level of a Big Mac.

However, that’s just the burger bun, and the rest of the composition still doesn’t seem to exceed the 3,500 won level. It might be strange to have high expectations at that price, though.

From the side, apart from the burger bun and patty, and a bit of sauce, there are hardly any other components. It seems to strongly convey, ‘Don’t enjoy it for the taste, just fill yourself up with a meal!’

Still, to check the detailed composition, we should cut it in half. But even when cut in half, there doesn’t seem to be much difference! Haha.

The patty is a super-cheap mix of chicken, pork, and flour, reflecting its low price. As a result, even after microwaving, it was very impressive that there was hardly any juice or grease.

When cut, a bit of lettuce was sticking out, and upon checking, it was indeed there, but it was shallowly positioned like the mantle on the crust. The harmony of tomato sauce, mayo sauce, and pickles is impressive. With this visual and composition, I’m worried if it can be swallowed without a drink.

Overlimit Monster Triple Burger Taste

Still, I have to try it, so let’s taste it right away. The weight and the feeling in hand are quite hefty! When you take a big bite, what you feel is!

It felt like stacking two 1,500 won burgers from a warm shelf at a supermarket would taste just like this. Among such burgers, the bulgogi sauce made it somewhat edible, but this product lacks even that sauce flavor, making it somewhat difficult to eat on its own.

Still, if I had to pick a single advantage, it would be the chillingly hefty weight and texture. The moment you take a bite, the first thought is whether you can finish it all! At this price, with this amount, the cost-performance ratio in terms of calories is unmatched among convenience store foods.

By paying an additional 1,000 to 2,000 won, you can choose a decent burger at a convenience store, and you can fully enjoy basic menus at franchises, making this menu not an easy choice. Even I, who usually try to find positive aspects, found it difficult to find any advantages other than the fact that 3,500 won can be converted into an immediate energy source. Even for a lineup that emphasizes cost-effectiveness, I wonder if it had to be released like this.

After eating half, I wondered if I should eat more, but in the end, I left even that half. It was that filling, and it was a menu that was relatively clear when to eat, as it was not easy to eat unless you were very hungry. It was a menu that was relatively clear when to eat!
