Preparing Ingredients for Pork Neck and Green Onion Soy Sauce Stew

First, use a paper towel to remove moisture from the surface of 400g of pork neck to grill it cleanly. You can also sprinkle a little pepper according to your preference.

After sprinkling pepper on both sides, prepare it on a paper towel, and you’re ready. If it’s a whole pork neck, don’t forget to slice it!

Next, wash the garlic and green onions cleanly, remove moisture, and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Cut the green onions to about the size of a finger joint, and slice the garlic or cut it in half. If necessary, you can grill whole garlic as well.

Then all the ingredients are ready. It’s really simple, right!? Prepare the pork separately, and the green onions and garlic together.

Cooking Pork Neck and Green Onion Soy Sauce Stew

Prepare a suitable frying pan. I cooked it in a 28cm frying pan! This size should be sufficient for grilling without much difficulty. Add 3 tablespoons of cooking oil, considering that you will stir-fry the ingredients together later, heat it appropriately, and then add the pork neck to cook.

Cook the pork neck evenly until both sides are well-cooked! You don’t need to cook it thoroughly inside as you will cut it once to cook.

Cooking until the seasoning reduces

When the surface of the meat is adequately cooked, use scissors and tongs to cut it into bite-sized pieces. If there’s too much oil, you can slightly remove it with a paper towel.

Soy sauce stew suitable for wraps

Add the prepared green onions and garlic, and stir-fry them evenly. Since green onions and garlic taste better when cooked thoroughly, stir them well over high heat to prevent burning.

When the green onions and garlic are adequately cooked, reduce the heat to medium! Then add 100ml of water first!

Then add 4 tablespoons of soy sauce, 3 tablespoons of cooking wine, 3 tablespoons of corn syrup, and 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce as seasoning and mix well.

Cook over high heat until the seasoning is reduced to 1/2 or 1/3, and when it starts to boil, stir well over medium heat to prevent burning.
