Hello. Today’s new menu item from 7-Eleven is the Kkanbu Lunchbox, a Chinese-style set meal bento. At first, I wondered if it was a collaboration with Kkanbu Chicken, but that wasn’t the case at all. It’s a set meal that combines spicy fried chicken (Kkanpunggi) and mapo tofu. The value for money is fairly average, and the lineup is decent, so it makes a solid option for a meal. Let’s take a closer look at what it’s like.

Hello. Today I’m introducing CU’s new lunchbox items: Chinese Gourmet Jjamppong + Tangsuyuk Half-and-Half and Jjajang + Tangsuyuk Half-and-Half. Rather than serving jjamppong, jjajang, and tangsuyuk all at once, they’ve released two separate options: jjajang + tangsuyuk and jjamppong + tangsuyuk. I’d only ever seen an obvious half-and-half setup like this at Chinese restaurants, so it felt new for a convenience store. I was curious, so I bought both right away. Let’s take a look at what they’re like.

Hello! Today, I will introduce two new instant food menu items from 7-Eleven, released as part of the Chef Park Eun-young series, featuring Chinese cuisine. The dishes are Yusanseul Tangmyeon and Mala Mapo Tofu Rice Bowl. With Chef Park Eun-young, who is as famous as Chef Jung Ji-sun, a female Chinese cuisine chef who appeared on ‘Heukbaek Yorisawa’ (in Korean ‘흑백요리사’), as the model for these menu items, I can’t help but have high expectations! It’s exciting to have Yusanseul Tangmyeon, which is hard to find at convenience stores, and not just any Mapo Tofu Rice Bowl, but one with a Mala flavor! Let’s find out more about these menu items!
