The product previously launched in Asia as “Spicy Chicken” was brought over to North America and rebranded as Shin Ramyun Gold, and this is the version that has been re-imported back into Korea. It combines a chicken-broth base with Shin Ramyun’s signature heat, creating a distinctive flavor that works well. It’s quite spicy and warming, but instead of the savory richness of beef, it stands out for the chicken stock’s unique umami and clean, refreshing finish. Let’s take a closer look at what it’s like.
