Hello! Today, I’m introducing a new menu item from Burger King’s Crisper Chicken Burger lineup, the Crisper Seasoned Chicken. Following the Crisper Fire Chicken I reviewed a while ago, this time I chose the seasoned chicken sauce! The Fire Chicken was quite good, but personally, I really like the taste of old-fashioned seasoned chicken, so I thought I must try this menu! Let’s find out what this menu is all about.
Price and Features of Crisper Seasoned Chicken
I mentioned this to some extent during the Crisper Fire Chicken review, but in 2025, with the popularity of K-FOOD menus, they launched the Fire Chicken and also introduced the seasoned chicken menu! Personally, I prefer the seasoned chicken menu over the Fire Chicken menu, and although the Fire Chicken sauce isn’t really a chicken sauce, the seasoned chicken sauce is a true chicken menu, so I ordered it right away with high expectations. Haha.
The price is the same as the Fire Chicken, with a single item priced at 5,800 won and a combo at 6,800 won in-store. For delivery, a single item is 6,800 won, and a combo is 9,300 won. You can add about 700 won for a large combo. The menu is simple, so the price seems to be set somewhat low!
Components of Crisper Seasoned Chicken
Let’s take a quick look at the components. It might seem like only the sauce has changed compared to the Crisper Fire Chicken! Surprisingly, this product also includes garlic flakes and mayo sauce!
The sauce on the outside has a translucent color compared to the Fire Sauce, giving the impression that it uses a sauce that captures the old fried style well. Haha. Just by looking at the visuals, it doesn’t seem spicy, so I’m relieved.
Then, we should check the composition by cutting this menu in half! I really like burgers that cut cleanly in one go like this! Haha.
Looking at the overall composition, there are burger buns, lettuce, onion, mayo sauce, and seasoned chicken sauce, and although not visible in the photos, garlic chips are also included! The order is Crisper Patty and burger bun.
This menu doesn’t grab attention as intensely as the bright red sauce of the Fire menu, but it might look a bit plain. However, thanks to the sauce, the mild taste is well felt.
In fact, I thought the price might have gone up a bit with the addition of garlic chips compared to the Fire Chicken, but it didn’t. It seems like it’s because the lineup is very similar. I think it would be good for you to choose according to your preference.
Taste of Crisper Seasoned Chicken
Let’s taste it right away! Since this menu isn’t spicy, I boldly took a bite!
There was no immediate spiciness felt from the Fire menu (although there was a slightly spicy taste from the seasoned chicken sauce), and the taste of the old and smooth seasoned chicken sauce blended well with the crispy patty.
Eating this reminded me a bit of the seasoned chicken burger that used to be sold at convenience stores. The Crisper Patty is probably a frozen product, and without fresh vegetables and mayo sauce, it would have been hard to feel a big difference.
Thinking about it, they probably didn’t develop a new seasoned chicken sauce for this menu, and they likely used a suitable mix of sauces available on the market, so it makes sense that the taste was similar but not different!
Still, I liked that they didn’t just change the sauce compared to the Fire Chicken, but also added garlic chips within the limited price. If it were really old-style, peanut crumble might have been nice too!
This Crisper menu is released in two options, Fire Chicken and Seasoned Chicken, so you can flexibly choose according to your preference! Both menus did the basics well, and personally, I found the taste quite good!
