Hello. Today I’m introducing CU’s new lunchbox items: Chinese Gourmet Jjamppong + Tangsuyuk Half-and-Half and Jjajang + Tangsuyuk Half-and-Half. Rather than serving jjamppong, jjajang, and tangsuyuk all at once, they’ve released two separate options: jjajang + tangsuyuk and jjamppong + tangsuyuk. I’d only ever seen an obvious half-and-half setup like this at Chinese restaurants, so it felt new for a convenience store. I was curious, so I bought both right away. Hello. Today I’m introducing GS25’s new menu item, Hyeja-style Fried Udon 2900. It’s a completely new offering being released for the first time in a while from the Hyeja lunchbox series, which recently underwent a major renewal. What’s more, it’s not a typical lunchbox but a fried udon menu. With various items like naengmyeon, noodles, and bibim noodles being released this year, it seems udon is now being offered as a fresh lunchbox-style menu as well. Today’s new Burger King item is the Quattro Pepper Cube Steak Whopper, released as a limited winter menu for 2026. It feels like a mash-up of the classic Quattro Cheese Whopper and the Cube Steak Whopper that came out in 2023. With the signature Whopper patty as the base, it adds a thick-cut cube steak with a satisfying beefy taste, plus a pepper cream sauce with a distinctive flavor, and it turned out better than expected.
