Hello! The new chicken menu from Kyochon Chicken that I will introduce today is a honey series menu released after a long time! Honey Garlic. It seemed like Kyochon Chicken had been focusing on slightly spicy menus like Mara Red in their seasoning! As far as I remember, it’s been quite a while since the release of a honey series menu after Honey Jumbo Wing! Moreover, this time it’s not just honey but with a generous amount of garlic! It seems to have become a custom(?) for various franchises to release menus related to Changnyeong garlic around this time, and Kyochon has also released a new menu that they don’t usually do. This menu is said to be a menu with garlic directly added to the existing honey sauce. It seems like a common combination, but the combination of the pungent taste of garlic and the sweet taste of honey doesn’t usually appeal much in the market, so it’s quite surprising!

The price is 22,000 won for a whole Honey Garlic chicken / 22,000 won for a wing box / 8,500 won for a Honey Garlic single wing. Although there is no boneless option yet, it might come out soon!? In fact, this menu seems to be somewhat of a bait. Somehow, in the press release, the news of the Honey Garlic release was less emphasized compared to the significant increase in half-and-half menu options. For reference, cola is basically 1,000 won, and from 500ml it’s 2,000 won, so to match the delivery fee of 24,000 won, you have to forcibly order cola, which is a minor drawback.

Shall we taste it right away!? I like Honey Garlic series menus (so I’ll be a bit sad if it gets discontinued quickly…), and this menu seems to have a pretty good aroma, so I’m quite looking forward to it!

Of course, it’s not raw garlic, but more like the feeling when you eat dried garlic flakes or crumbles!? It’s not too spicy, but I thought it would be good for kids, but then again, maybe not. Haha, friends who find eating kimchi difficult might find it quite spicy!

The pungent garlic taste is well alive, and it’s quite different from the menu that is closer to garlic bread seasoning than the taste of garlic itself, as I thought? Haha, for those who dislike spicy food, ordering the wing menu is a good option, and it seems like a pretty good choice for a family meal.

And since a lot of half-and-half menus have been added this time, it would be nice to combine it with moderately spicy and salty menus according to your preference!
