Hello! Today’s new menu from GS25 is the Hearty Home Meal Series, re-released as the popular full-course meal lunchbox, Hearty Home Meal Unrivaled Lunchbox. It was first launched during the Kim Hyeja Mom era of GS25’s Hearty Lunchbox lineup! After several renewals, it has been renewed again in the 2025 Hearty Home Meal Series. Let’s find out what kind of menu it is right away!?

Hearty Home Meal Unrivaled Lunchbox Price and Features

The Unrivaled Lunchbox was first launched as the Unrivaled Assorted Chicken around 2015-2016, so if you combine all the renewals with a similar composition, it’s already been almost 10 years. It’s also a lunchbox menu that I couldn’t try all of while following up on lunchbox reviews! Compared to the first launch of the Unrivaled Assorted Chicken, it seems that quite a few parts have changed while keeping a similar composition! The price is 5,800 won.

The total content is 469g with a calorie count of 838Kcal, and sodium is at 82% of the daily recommended intake. The amount of the lunchbox itself is quite substantial given the price, and the calorie count is high as well! Since it’s a menu that could be part of a premium lineup, you can have a hearty lunch with just this one.

Hearty Home Meal Unrivaled Lunchbox Composition

Let’s check the composition right away!? Since the name of the Hearty Lunchbox has been continuously changed to a full-course meal feel even before the Hearty Home Meal, there’s no exact original to point to, so it might be better to treat it as a new menu! ㅎㅎ The composition consists of 8 side dishes, and there’s nothing particularly main about it.

The largest side dish compartment is used, so if this is the main, then it is the main! But it’s not standalone; it contains sausage, hamburger steak, and seasoned chicken breast in one compartment.

High Protein High Fat Lunchbox Composition

Next to it, there’s a small amount of gochujang stir-fried pork, and on the side, there’s stir-fried kimchi, seasoned chicken karaage, and stir-fried fish cake!

Next to the rice, there are two pieces of frozen food that feel like mini pork cutlets (since it’s fried, it doesn’t seem to be meatballs ㅎㅎ). The rice is also quite substantial, and overall, except for the kimchi, it’s a very meaty menu!

Convenience Store Lunchbox Review Format

Given the overall composition of this menu, 63% of the daily recommended fat and 53% of the protein are included! On the other hand, carbohydrates are at 31% of the daily recommended intake, so it could be considered a high-protein, high-fat lunchbox. ㅎㅎ It seems perfect for those who need a hearty lunch and a light breakfast and dinner!

Let’s taste it right away. Overall, for people like me who enjoy processed foods in frozen foods or convenience store lunchboxes, it’s a very attractive (?) menu composition, so I’m really looking forward to it! ㅎㅎ

Convenience Store Lunchbox Composition Change

Since GS25 is good at making hamburger steaks, I took a bite right away. It was definitely thick, and for a convenience store lunchbox, the meat juice was quite preserved, so it didn’t feel dry! There was also sauce underneath, so it didn’t feel overwhelming.

Next, I tried the thick whole sausage. Although the exact pork content of the sausage is not specified, it wasn’t a cheap sausage filled with flour, and it was above average! It was quite tasty and a crispy rice-stealing side dish.

The seasoned chicken breast was slightly spicy, while the gochujang stir-fried pork was a bit spicier! If the sausage and hamburger are mildly flavored, this side can be said to handle the slightly spicy taste! ㅎㅎ

This menu is definitely substantial in terms of weight and calories, and since the side dishes are mainly protein-based, it felt quite filling. It also felt like good value for money! However, since the overall taste is slightly salty, if you consider this part, you can enjoy a very tasty menu!
