Delivery apps in Korea have started commissioning menu items straight from famous chefs, and Coupang Eats runs one of the biggest of those programs. Today’s release is the No Brand Burger Musoepal Whole Shrimp Katsuo Burger, part of the August 2026 Eats Chef Collection collaboration. It was developed with chef Park Ju-seong, known as Musoepal or “Iron Arm,” who became a household name on season two of the Netflix cooking competition Culinary Class Wars. The concept is a teppan-style burger, stacking a thick beef patty with yakisoba sauce, whole shrimp and bonito flakes. It runs 8,100 won for the burger alone, is exclusive to Coupang Eats Wow members, and stays on sale for roughly three months through November. The Eats Chef Collection has been quietly building buzz lately, so I ordered one straight away. Let’s see how it turned out.

Whole Shrimp Katsuo Burger Price and Availability
Not long ago I reviewed the Spicy Ragu Meat Pizza from No More Pizza, another Eats Chef Collection release. True to the format, which pairs one heavier pizza, chicken or burger item with one lighter dessert or coffee shop item each round, this round brought No Brand Burger with chef Park Ju-seong and Yo Ah Jeong with chef Park Jun-woo. More recently Baskin-Robbins and Doo Jjim joined too, and there’s another release lined up for September 10. As the name implies, this one launched for Coupang Eats Wow members only. Naturally, that means Coupang Eats delivery is the only way to order it. Let’s look at the prices.

Copyright PAKOC https://pakoc.netThis one is slated to run for about three months through November, so if you’re curious, ordering sooner rather than later makes sense. The concept is billed as teppan cooking, and Frank Burger previously did something similar with bonito flakes and shrimp through its Jung Ho-young collaboration, which makes for a useful comparison. I was genuinely curious how it tastes too. I ordered mine as a combo.

Let’s take a quick look at the build. Since this is part of a project Coupang Eats clearly put real ambition behind, the composition is generous. No Brand Burger has been putting out fairly unusual items for a while, and with an event on top of that, the result is a thick burger you don’t normally see from them. Relative to the concept, though, the ingredients themselves stay restrained.

Copyright PAKOC https://pakoc.netLook closely and it clearly differs from the burgers you usually see. For a start, cabbage replaces the standard lettuce. There’s a fried egg in the middle, and bonito flakes down at the bottom. The shrimp, however, isn’t easy to spot from the outside.

Let’s cut it in half for a closer look. With this many ingredients, the balance is a little precarious. Starting from the top, that cabbage turns out to be a coleslaw made with red cabbage rather than plain cabbage. Below it come the fried egg, three whole shrimp, cheese, the beef patty and bonito flakes, with yakisoba sauce sitting right at the bottom.

Copyright PAKOC https://pakoc.netTaken as a whole, it captures the feel of teppan cooking without overdoing it. The identity of a hamburger stays intact while the ingredients and sauce carry just a hint of the other cuisine. Of course, examine the components individually and they’re all things you’d readily find on a teppan griddle.

Time to eat. Among the No Brand Burger items I’ve reviewed recently, this one is on the thick side. The stack is slightly unstable, so you need to hold it carefully.

Copyright PAKOC https://pakoc.netTeriyaki Aroma From the Yakisoba Sauce
The overall flavor is unmistakably a hamburger, yet distinctly different from the ones I’m used to. Thanks to the yakisoba sauce, a strong teriyaki aroma comes through. Meanwhile a touch of smokiness on top of that ties the ingredients together surprisingly well.

Copyright PAKOC https://pakoc.netWith egg and shrimp as base ingredients, plus a beef patty and cheese, I expected it to feel heavy. Unexpectedly, the coleslaw-style salad and the yakisoba sauce keep it from turning greasy, and it goes down remarkably easily.

Copyright PAKOC https://pakoc.netBonito Finish and Springy Shrimp
A few bites in, it’s clear the teppan stir-fry concept was executed properly. On the finish, the bonito aroma sweeps in and wraps everything in your mouth at once. The shrimp has a springy bite that adds real texture. The Okonomi Shrimp Burger from Frank Burger’s Jung Ho-young collaboration, which I reviewed a while back, leaned harder on concept than on being a good shrimp burger and felt likely to divide people. This one, by contrast, is quietly excellent.

Copyright PAKOC https://pakoc.netVegetables are easy to neglect when you’re assembling something like this. They could have gone with the usual lettuce and tomato, or plain cabbage, but personally the coleslaw choice felt genuinely right. It adds a burst of freshness between bites and makes the whole thing easier to eat.

Copyright PAKOC https://pakoc.netThe cheese and egg pairing quietly adds a nutty richness. Nothing tastes disconnected, and the core hamburger flavor sits comfortably alongside the concept. Admittedly, some people may find the classic vegetable, cheese and patty burger character a little muted here. In practice, though, it’s good enough that the thought barely crosses your mind while eating.

Whether you’re the type who chases every adventurous new burger or someone who feels a bit wary of novelty releases, this one should land well either way. If anything, the fact that it’s a Coupang Eats exclusive is the real shame. I’d happily see it join the permanent menu later on. If you’re curious how teppan stir-fry and yakisoba sauce translate into a burger, don’t wait on this one. For visitors to Korea, it’s also a neat example of how delivery platforms here now commission chef-designed fast food.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Can I order this in a No Brand Burger store?
No, it’s delivery only through Coupang Eats and limited to Wow members. That makes it 8,100 won à la carte or 10,600 won as a combo, with no in-store option.
Q. What does a teppan-style burger actually taste like?
A strong teriyaki note from the yakisoba sauce leads, with a hint of smokiness behind it. The bonito flakes then wrap everything together on the finish, and the red cabbage coleslaw cuts through so it never feels greasy.
Q. How long is it available?
Roughly three months, from August through November 2026. It came out of the Coupang Eats Chef Collection project, so once the window closes you won’t be able to order it.
