Hello. Today I’m introducing Seven-Eleven’s new lunchbox menu, the Spicy Jumbo Chicken Drumstick Set. It’s a fully original menu that Seven-Eleven has released for the first time in a while. That said, the concept itself seems influenced by GS25’s Edward Lee Whole Chicken Drumstick Lunchbox that came out recently, or the older Wanjeonkeun Dak lunchbox. Moreover, if you go back even further, it also seems connected to Seven-Eleven’s Spicy Chicken Drumstick lunchbox that was released in the past. It was quite spicy, but I still enjoyed it. Hello. Today’s new Seven-Eleven lunch box is a Chinese-style rice bowl called Kim Joo Kitchen Chef’s Chinese-Style Spicy Pork Rice Bowl. It is said to recreate a signature dish from “Chef Kim Joo Kitchen,” who worked at Palseon for over 23 years, in a convenience-store lunch box format. I was curious how they would capture that signature wok-kissed smokiness and the spicy, thick-cut pork, so I bought one right away. The taste was fairly decent and easy to enjoy.
